Camp-Bee-A Friend

This two-week day camp is held on the Monday-Friday during the two weeks prior to the start of the school year in an effort to bridge a gap in services for children with autism. This camp will help prepare children for the structure of the school day and for interaction with their peers.

Camp-Bee-A-Friend

Camp Bee-A-Friend offers children on the autism spectrum the opportunity to work on social skills and form friendships with each other and their typically developing peers. The activities offered at this camp are designed to support each camper's individualized social skills goals. Campers will learn and practice play skills with their typically developing peers while having lots of fun. This camp offers typically developing children the opportunity to learn about the importance of inclusion while celebrating the abilities that each individual brings to the world. All campers will have fun taking part in creative camp activities while making a difference in the lives of others. The children who attend this camp will go back to their playgrounds more compassionate and with a better understanding of autism.

All children participating in Camp Bee-A-Friend will have fun playing games, swimming, hiking, fishing, arts & crafts, creative play, low ropes course, and more!

Please call Camp Albrecht Acres (563.552.1771) for more information regarding registration.
